Our Deal:

Originally known as the Belleville Lake Stump Jumpers, the ski club was organized in 1970. Over the last 34 years, many club members have won state, regional, national and international water ski titles. This successful history can be attributed to the naturally protected ski site that Belleville Lake offers The group focuses on summer fun, skill education and safety awareness.

The ski club hosts several events on Lake Belleville each year, including a high flying water ski show and exhibition as a part of the annual Belleville Strawberry Festival, ski clinics, and the December Polar Bear fund raiser. With membership open to all interested, the club promotes the enjoyment of water skiing and wake boarding with safety and respect for other boaters.

Strawberry Festival Ski Show:

National Strawberry festival home page here The Belleville Lake Water Ski Club is excited to announce a water ski show, in conjunction with this year’s National Strawberry Festival.  The show will take place Saturday 6/14 at approximately 3:00 PM - at the conclusion of the festival parade down Main Street.  The show location is the Horizon Park boardwalk off of High street on the western end of downtown Belleville.

This year’s show will feature several acts - including ski jumping, barefoot skiing, ballet line and the ever popular two tier ski pyramid.

“We’re excited to be a part of this year’s festival”, said Ski Club President Frank Brown.  “Our club members have been rehearsing their acts, and we’re looking forward to another great audience turn out this year.  We love the water and enjoy skiing - the Festival and Ski Show provides our club with a great opportunity to continue to be active in the Belleville Community.”
