Season coming to an end (if you're a wimp)rev.

Our U of M hopefuls goes to the big show
Hi all ! It's once again turning (or staying) cold, and most waterskiers are looking ahead to next season. Our local collegiate waterski team, U of M, are going to the collegiate nationals again, and have been skiing up until recently. Congrats, co-eds and good luck!! This is why we took the jump out a little late this year on October 20th.

Curly and the gang showed up, as well as Douggo and Sig.
This was the easiest jump winterization I've been part of. Thats mostly due to the improvements that was made to the jump this spring. The side curtains came off without any problems, and 7 of us walked both of them up to their winter storage spots. We then lifted the jump surface out of the water and rested the front brace on cinder blocks, and secured the jump to land anchors. Thanks again for everyones efforts.
Douggo and I (Sig), got a ski set in, and the water was just fine although a wetsuit came in handy. Late season skiing is very rewarding as long as you don't mind the initial shock of the....eh, sub-tepid water. As long as the waters still liquid, it's considered waterskiing ! Get out there !!
